Dr. Levine has a remarkable rapport with patients. He has a wonderful sense of humor, but knows when to be serious. He is thorough, considerate of one's circumstances, and he gets to the problem. I have never had a doctor for whom I have felt more confidence and appreciation. In my case, he followed through on what I thought was a minor eye problem, and found through careful diagnosis, and appropriate tests, including blood tests and a brain MRI, that I had a very serious disease.

I worked in the medical profession for 33 years and Dr. Downer is one of the best, well informed doctors I have had treat me. His no nonsense direct approach has been refreshing, and has reduced my the eye problems I had because of delays in addressing the them with previous providers. Continuity of care with the same provider makes a big difference in that they know your history and can assess the total medical picture being presented.

Dr. Downer performed my cataract surgery. It was the quickest & easiest procedure I have ever had. Dr. Downer was great & the surgery was perfect. Should I need anything else for my vision, this is the Doctor I would see.
