A very professional office. A large clientele that was handled smoothly with limited delay in a friendly and professional manner.
My wife and I have been clients (patients) of Clay Eye (Fleming Island) for several years. Weve been extremely pleased with the quality of care provided its staff - from check in to exam to check out, as well as help with frames and adjustments for our glasses. I highly recommend Clay Eye.
I saw Dr. Powell at Clay Eye today. What a fantastic experience. Everyone there is so nice and efficient. Great experience from beginning to ending with ordering new glasses. They were excellent last year too when my husband had cataract surgery for both eyes. He now has 20/20 vision. I love Clay Eye!!
I have been going to clay eye physicians for many years however this is for cataracts I was a bit nervous but I was soon put at ease thank you Dr. Hayes. The techs were great too
About 2 years ago I had an acute "double vision". Basically, my eyes did not line up. This was very concerning, because one is thinking all the worst things that could cause it. My GP was rather distressed, therefore so was I. He recommended I see an ophthalmologist first, but debated about something more urgent. So I make an appointment here. There was a greater wait time than I wanted, but it was a rush appointment.Long story short, the Doctor came in, got the symptoms, and immediately put me at ease. This particular kind of double vision incident was not an indicator of tumor or stroke or any of the list of horrible that the GP was concerned about. In fact, he jovially mentions 'There must be something in the water as the last patient he saw had the same thing.'He let me know this is caused my a minor vascular event next to the nerve, which is causing pressure and thus ... misalignment. The doctor gave me some inserts for my glasses to merge my vision, advised this issue would likely resolve itself within 2 months, and as a precaution directed me to get brain and neck scans for due diligence. After a full battery of other tests... I am 100% fine and my eyes are great.I really pays to see an expert in the field.
